One of our family traditions that I love is our family meals together. We try to sit down, as a family, and eat our dinner together as often as possible. That ends up being most weeknights and often on weekends too! So, when I was given the opportunity to try Knorr Homestyle Stock, I jumped at the chance!

I went to Let’s Make Knorr and found this recipe for Chicken Pot Pie. It calls for 1 tub of Knorr Homestyle Stock – Chicken. So, I headed to Walmart to pick some of that up and all of the other ingredients I would need.

Once I was ready to make the chicken pot pie, I but up the chicken and put set is aside to marinate. Then, I cut up the carrots and celery before adding them to the boiling water.

After cooking the veggies for a couple of minutes, I strained them from the water and then added 1 tub of Knorr Homestyle Stock – Chicken to the veggie water. It was so easy to use. I just peeled back the foil top and dropped it in the pot.

The ingredients combined so easily and filled the house with delicious smells! The sauce didn’t thicken enough for me so I added some instant mashed potato flakes.

After covering the pie plate with the crust, I brushed it with a beaten egg and cut a slit.

The resulting Chicken Pot Pie was fabulous! My teen, Christine, was at a friends house and my daughter, Vanessa, said, “If you call Christine and tell her you made Chicken Pot Pie, she will come home!” And sure enough, she did! It was a big hit with my family and the flavor was fabulous!!

Such a delicious and classic meal!! I have never attempted to make my own pot pie…but I just might try it! Great pictures
I’ve not tried those stocks in a pot. We don’t have that brand but something similar. I usually use stock powder but I might give them a try. Thanks Tonia!
