Hey, everyone…I hope you had a fun weekend! Today was back to school for my kids, so I am a free woman once again! Expect to find me sitting around eating bon-bons!
Did you add your latest and greatest to this week’s link party?

I wanted to put a lamp that matches in my daughter’s room without spending money to do so. Luckily, I had a lamp, lampshade and matching fabric on hand {yippee for the stash}!

I started by peeling the existing fabric off of the plastic frame.

I used the piece I had just removed as the pattern for the new piece.

To attach the new fabric, I squeezed tacky glue on the plastic frame and spread it out with a brush. Then, I pressed the fabric onto the plastic.

To finish off the edges, I glued on black ric rac.

And now onto those bon bons the next project….
I also wanted to thank Reannah @Shaped By Grace for nominating me for The Versatile Blogger Award! Reannah is a sweet mom of 2 boys, as well as a teacher! She has some great ideas so go check out her blog! I was nominated in May so I won’t bore you all with 7 facts about me again but you can check them out here.
