I have a couple of companies that I wanted to give a big thank you to! When I was gathering the supplies for the Champions For Kids Energizer Safety Kits for students, I contacted several companies to ask for donations. Two of the companies, Chaska Dental Center and Mackenthun's Fine Foods, donated supplies!

Chaska Dental Center is a local dental practice that treats patients of all ages. They have a whole-health philosophy that ties a healthy mouth and to a healthy body. Before you even have any work done on your mouth, you have a new patient appointment where you meet the team, have a consultation with the dentist and figure out your treatment plan. They have the best modern technology and offer many outstanding comforts for their patients.

Chaska Dental Center donated toothbrushes and toothpaste for all of the children. The kids cheered when I showed them that they were going to be receiving one of each! Thank you so very much for your donation!

I received all of these heartwarming thank you cards from the kids in Zack's class! It was so very sweet of them to take the time to make these beautiful cards and write such sweet things!
Here are some of the lovely things written in the cards:
★Thank you for the family kit and everything in it. The family kits will help us learn to stay safe. I made sure I showed my family as soon as possible. You made me happy!
★Thank you for helping us make safety kits. Thank you for helping us make us safe.
★Thank you for talking to us about how to stay safe by bringing in the safety kits. I thought it was cool!
★Thank you for helping us make our safety kits and buying materials like hats and gloves. Thank you for helping us learn how to be safe.
★Thanks for the safety kits. They rock! I don't have gloves so I always use them. They're the best. Thanks a lot!
Did you find the time to create a safety kit for kids? Where did you donate the kit?
Although I was compensated for my 2 previous Champions For Kids posts this one was NOT compensated. It was done purely to thank those that were kind enough to donate supplies!

So awesome! And, I know where Chaska is! One of my very best friends lives in Arlington and I went to school at Gustavus - what a small world! I live in Illinois now, but I'm still a Minnesota winter girl - I miss the snow!
That's so cool Tonia. I'm sure a lot of these little companies would help a lot more for these more individualised projects that are more meaningful. Sometimes throwing a lot of money at the bigger projects, funds get eaten up in admin costs and 'people' dont get the real benefit. You've done a fantastic job and deserve all the well wishes from the children.

Aw, this is such a sweet post! I am so glad people have been this generous to help out. I LOVE that quote you added at the top. So true, so true. Thanks for sharing this!
This is so neat! I love when businesses in the community partner to provide things for different organizations!
How wonderful! Any and all contributions help a lot.
I love that you were able to mobilize others to get involved with the project. That's exactly how Champions for Kids will continue to spread and serve even more children around the country. Great job!
Tonia - this is beautiful! And yes I cried (that was just mean...you know me too well). I wish I could drive up there and hug those two amazing organizations for all that they do and for helping you complete this mission in such a huge way! And the cards? Oh the cards! You made a difference in their lives and they won't soon forget that!
I just organized a big food drive for our local food bank at my school. Three truckloads of food delivered to some scarily empty pantries.
This is so awesome!!! Never lose hope in humanity... there are kind people all over!!!
It's just wonderful that you were able to get your local community businesses involved in this project!
Kudos to all the companies who help communities out.
Visiting from the Alexa Drop Hop :) Have a good one!
