With less than 1 week till Mother’s Day, it’s crunch time for figuring out those Mother’s Day gifts. Both my mom and my mother-in-law love flowers so that is what we usually get them for Mother’s Day. Some years we pick out the flowers and other years we give them gift cards so they can pick out their own. This year I decided to decorate pots with Painters Paint Markers and then plant some flowers in the pots as part of their gifts.
I love how they turned out and now we just need to get some flowers in them!
Vanessa loves this kind of thing so she was really happy that I waited for her to be able to help me! We put some rocks in the bottom of the pots for drainage and then added the dirt and flowers.
They look a tad bit dismal right now because we just planted them but they will perk up in time for Mother’s Day!

What a simple way to really spruce up simple pots! I love the way it turned out! Now that we have a deck/porch, I might get into plants… I definitely want to do this to our pots!
