I went on a girlfriends getaway last weekend with a couple of childhood friends. We’ve been doing it every summer for about 13 years now! This summer we went to Duluth. The 4 day weekend of laughs and wonderful memories. Our days were filled with chatting, walking, eating and relaxing.
It went something like this…eat breakfast, go for a walk and watch a ship come in.
Go to the spa
Eat lunch.
Spend some quality time at the rooftop pool.
Eat dinner and take an evening stroll
Make s’mores.
And take another walk before bed. It was just what I needed and I am so thankful to have been blessed with wonderful friends!

Duluth is such a great city! My husband and I got married at the little Greek church there. Good choice for a girl’s weekend.
I love it! What a great time away.
Two of my best friends and I were doing yearly getaways but the last two years have brought a bit of craziness for all of us and we haven’t done it. Hoping to get away this fall!

It looks like you had a great time! I have never gone on a weekend getaway with friends. Maybe once the kids are a little bit older I’ll start, it’ll be nice to have that little break.

I just love your girlfriend getaway tradition! My friends and I always talk about it but then you know there’s always something….someone gets pregnant, someones getting married, etc….Looks like you all had a great time!
