Emilie M. Riley Double Shoulder Bag

I am embarrassed to say that I have had the same handbag for more years that I care to admit! But that has changed! I have a new Emilie M. handbag and I’ve been enjoying using it. It is the Riley Double Shoulder Bag. The top part is bronze snake embossed and the bottom is soft chocolate leather alternative. The bag is easily paired with various outfits. Here I paired it with a wool skirt and brown boots which is perfect for fall.

The night we went to open house at our kid’s school, I paired my handbag with jeans and flats. I do not like moving everything from handbag to handbag so I love that I can use this bag for any occasion.

It was easy to take along when going back to school shopping. My daughter hung her “not for me” clothes on one hook and I hung my Emilie M. handbag on the “love it!” hook!

I also really like that this handbag has 3 zippered compartments. My previous handbag only had one compartment and everything ended up in a jumble. The center compartment has 2 cell phone slots and a small zippered compartment. The bag is also large enough to hold my iPad! I often bring my iPad with me for work and although this handbag does not have a specified padded compartment for my iPad it fits perfectly in the side compartments. I made a brown leather iPad cover to help protect it while I carry it around. The interior compartments are covered in a silky, blue material.
