{Trick-or-Treat} Jack ‘O Lantern Pump-CANs

Yesterday I made these last minute Halloween treats and called them jack ‘o lantern pump-CANs, instead of pumpkins…okay so that wasn’t funny but they are still cute! We don’t get very many trick-or-treaters at our house because we live off of the main road but I want to have something fun to give out to the few who do come. Or we might end up heading to a friend’s house for the evening and if that happens I will bring these with us.

I used mini cans of Dr. Pepper. They are 7.5 oz and have 90 calories. I found them at Target along with some tissue paper from the dollar section and a pack of construction paper.

I used PicMonkey to make this printable. I printed the jack ‘o lanterns onto pieces of orange construction paper. Want to make some of your own? Download the free printable here: Jack ‘O Lanterns

Cut the sheet of paper into three even strips and tape the strips to the cans of pop.

Cut strips of tan tissue paper and roll it to make stems. Cut leaves from the green tissue paper. Tape the leaves and stem to the top of the can.

Dirt Dr. Pepper is one of our favorite kinds of pop and is almost always in our refrigerator! I am really excited that Murphy USA has teamed up with Dr. Pepper to give 5 students a $5,000 scholarship and an HP Envy Laptop! Last month students submitted their videos and now the voting has begun. Stop by the Murphy USA Facebook page to vote on who you think should win and by voting you have the opportunity to win instant prizes that range from HP prizes to Murphy USA gift cards!
