Then, Christine blended the entire mixture together.

They poured the veggie smoothie into two large glasses.

Since we had whipped cream in the fridge for Thanksgiving, they added a little to each smoothie. When they tasted it they were surprised that it tasted like bananas for the most part. They wondered if they gave the smoothie to someone who did not know there were veggies in it, if that person would be able to taste the veggies at all. Both girls enjoyed making the veggies smoothies. They thought it is was easy to do and it is always fun to make something new.

I’m constantly amazed what my little one will eat as long as she’s helped me make it. Last night she had two helpings of Morrocan Stew!
what a weird combo!! interesting that the bananas overtook the brocoli and cauliflower. not sure how i would feel about it lol.
Love this idea! My kids drink green smoothies, but sometimes are a bit “over” the green. This would be a nice alternative! Don’t ya love how versatile banana are in transforming a smoothie!
Gosh Tonia. You can really tell the vegies are in the finished product. I’d have to do this one in secret with my fussy one. It actually looks very refreshing.

Wow, I would never have thought about a veggie smoothie in that way. You definitely can’t tell by looking at it that there are veggies in there! I have definitely had kale and spinach in smoothies with apples but interested in trying a banana version with different vegetables.
