Chocolate peanut butter cup popcorn can be called a gourmet popcorn but the recipe is so easy to make that is shouldn’t be! I used store bought popcorn and drizzled it with melted chocolate chips, melted peanut butter chips and mini Reeses’s Peanut Butter Cups. The combination of salty and sweet is delicious!

Happy Friday! Do you have big plans for the weekend? We have some friends visiting from out of state in town so we are going to be busy. The kids are super excited because they don’t have school on Monday! Getting together with friends calls for treats but when things are busy I don’t have time to bake. So, when I needed a quick snack, I made this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Popcorn.

Take a bag of store bought popcorn and spread it out in a thin layer in a jelly roll pan or two. Melt 1/2 bag of peanut butter chips and drizzle it over the popcorn.

Sprinkle a bag of mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the melted peanut butter chips.

Melt 1/2 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and drizzle that over everything.

Allow the melted chips to harden and then separate the popcorn into smaller pieces before enjoying this easy to make, gourmet popcorn.

Oh wow this looks awesome! I love peanut butter but we don’t get peanut butter chips in the UK
The recipe looks delicious though!
You don’t? Now that is sad! Maybe you could try making something like peanut butter caramel to drizzle on the popcorn?
Oh Tonia…this looks AMAZING!!! I am sending my husband to the store tonight for the ingredients…this pregnant lady is craving this popcorn. And I have to say…your photography is so gorgeous!!

I’m always using the easy route
Wow, this look amazing! It’s a little scary how easy it looks to make. That could be dangerous at our house!
Totally! Be careful!
Oh my goodness Tonia, this looks amazing! I love all your recipes, I literally want to make them all! Your creamy chicken & wild rice soup is a family favorite, by the way!
Really? I’m so happy to hear that! Thanks for letting me know!
This is FABULOUS! I’m going to make some for my secret sister at church. Do you have a neat presentation idea?
Thanks Georgia! I hope she enjoys it! You could put it in something edible like a waffle cone. Or you could always do a mason jar with a cute label. I have some free printable labels for mason jars. The link is under reader favorites in my right side bar called Everything In A Jar.
Oh my! That looks AMAZING!!! Salty and sweet combos are the best!
You are so right! We bought a bag of chocolate covered pretzels from Michaels to munch on in the car yesterday.
