The Best Ham And Cheese Croissants

Ham and Cheese Croissant

Today I wanted to share the best ham and cheese croissants! I’ve been eating these my whole life. It stared at my grandpa and grandma’s house. This was one of my grandma’s favorite things to make us and we loved it. Once time she spent hours making homemade chicken noodle soup and we wouldn’t eat it. When I say homemade, I mean that she even made the noodles. Now, as an adult, I would love it if someone made it for me, but as a kidno wayI wanted my chicken noodle soup from the classic red can. Anyway, the ham and cheese croissants were a much better option for us kids. They were flaky, warm and covered with melted cheese.

Ham and Cheese Croissant Recipe

These ham and cheese croissants and super easy to make! The secret is that you assemble the sandwiches and then bake them in the oven for a few minutes. Putting them in the oven makes the croissant really flaky and it melts the cheese. You can see it in the picture above! I use croissants from the bakery to make things easier, but if you have the desire to make homemade croissants… go for it! The ham was leftover from a meal we had recently. Ham is typically a winter meal, but I make it year round because my family loves it and I think it is one of the easiest meats to make. You can find my recipe for Mom’s Famous Bone-In Ham here or you can even use sliced deli ham.

I love croissant sandwiches and these look super delicious! I haven’t let myself get the croissants at Costco in such a long time…but I think I might get them for this! I bet these would be good for breakfast too! Sometimes I just feel like eating things that are usually reserved for lunch and dinner for breakfast…is that weird?
