With two working parents and three kids in school, things are busy! Throw in a couple holidays, birthdays, weddings and graduation and you’ve got craziness. One of the things that brings our family together is weeknight meals. We aren’t all together for dinner every night, but we try to eat together as often as we can. This Pizza Casserole recipe is perfect for busy weeknights because it takes less than 30 minutes to make and only uses one pan!

Before starting to cook the meal, dice the Canadian bacon and pepperoni. Brown 3/4 pound of spicy Italian sausage for 3-4 minutes, in a large, oven safe skillet or Dutch oven, over medium high heat.

Add Canadian bacon and pepperoni. Brown it for 1-2 minutes, over medium heat.

Add a jar of marinara sauce, water, oregano and garlic salt and stir.

Mix in 8 ounces of rotini pasta. Cover the pan and bring it to a boil.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 12 minutes until pasta is tender.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Brown the cheese under the broiler for a couple of minutes.

Enjoy the meat lovers pizza casserole with a salad and some garlic bread. Top with pizza sauce, black olives and parmesan cheese, if desired. This one pot pasta is easy to make and can be easily customized to whatever pizza flavors your family loves.
