Hello there! My name is Lindsay & I blog at Southern Lovely. I love creating simple, easy crafts that make a big statement–finding the time can be a bit challenging though, since I have three little ones at home. 🙂
This is actually my first time doing a bunting project, but I have been wanting to do something like this for a long time! In the process of creating some new Halloween decor, I noticed that it was missing something. And then I thought a little banner could possibly fill the void–which it most definitely did!
I cut a long 2 inch strip for the top part. Then 5–4×6 inch pennants out of the burlap, and 5 smaller pennants out of the leaf fabric.
I pressed the long strip to create a bias tape look
Next, I stitched the leaf fabric to the burlap, then the newly created pennants to the yellow strip.
And there you have it, a new bunting banner that fits perfectly with the rest of my Halloween decor.
Thanks so much for letting me stop by today. If you want to see more DIY’s & such, I would love for you to drop by!
