A blueberry melon protein smoothie is an easy breakfast recipe that is perfect for back to school. It also works as an after school snack or a quick, on-the-go meal.

Blueberry Melon Protein Smoothie

When I was a fourteen, I made my first airplane trip without parents, to visit my relatives in Washington state. My cousins and I had a wonderful time! One of the things we did that summer in Washington was to enjoy the fresh raspberries and blueberries.

My cousins had blueberry bushes in their yard and they were so big and plump. I had never had such good blueberries. We went with one of my aunts to a farm to pick raspberries. We had a great time that summer and I’ve loved raspberries and blueberries even more ever since!

Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

This summer we’ve been putting frozen blueberries into our smoothies. I typically put them with strawberries and raspberries. One day when I had leftover cantaloupe, I decided to add some and I loved the combination of blueberries and cantaloupe. This blueberry melon protein smoothie is something my kids love too!

Put the frozen cantaloupe, frozen blueberries, vanilla yogurt, milk,
Vanilla Protein Powder and Ground Flaxseed into a BlendTec blender and mix until smooth. Pour into two Mason Jar Mugs.
