I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Brother P-Touch and received a product sample to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Craft organization has been on my mind all month! Although I didn’t get everything done that I wanted to I was able to use my Brother P-Touch labeler to help organize a bunch of my supplies. I put my store bought washi tape along with the ones I made in my how to make washi tape post into one container. Baker’s twine went into one, paint markers another and so on.
I used buckets, bins and containers to separate, organize and label some of my craft supplies. All of these containers will stay out for easy access. My tipping point for wanting to get my supplies organized was not being able to find the items I needed while doing my holiday crafting. One of the problems is that I had too much stuff! When doing my craft organization, I did a lot of weeding out of my old supplies. I had markers that didn’t work, supplies that weren’t worth keeping and almost empty glue bottles. I ended up throwing away a garbage bag full of items from my basement craft area.
It felt good to do some weeding out but the organizing came next. For my tabletop storage, I started with vintage flour and sugar canisters, 3 empty cashew containers, 3 silver buckets from the Target and 2 divided containers from Target. First, I spray painted the canisters aqua and then I spray painted the cashew container lids silver.
Next, I used my Brother P-Touch labeler to make labels for each container. The labeler is so much fun to use and being able to put a label on each container helped to quickly get things where they belong! I love that this labeler has 8 fonts to choose from. I used the Florida font with a plain frame. After making the selections, I just pressed print and the label came out of the top of the printer. The green button on the side of the labeler cuts the label when pushed. I put the labels on pieces of washi tape before adding them to the containers.
I plan to continue organizing my craft supplies, fabric and crafting tools because it will make crafting so much easier. I plan to leave my labeler in my craft area so that I can keep labeling as I go. I’ve also been thinking that it would be fun to use my Brother P-Touch labeler on some crafts themselves.
What area of your house could use the help of a labeler?

well, now I need a labeler! I’m guilty of shoving things into boxes and calling it organized – but then I can never remember what’s in the boxes!

Everywhere for me, too. My craft supplies is a great place to start and now I know what washi tape is. Great ideas Tonia, thank you
Tonia L says
Thanks Amy! The washi tape I used in this post is from Target. You can find it in the office supply section and it isn’t called washi tape. I think it is decorator tape or something.

Looks great! My craft goodies are ALL over the house. I’d like a big tool chest to put everything in and then all the drawers labelled.

Jane…that is a fabulous idea! Now I want one too!

I use little buckets for my Pens, scissors and markers too. Mine are Christmas theme, though and I get them at Target in the dollar bins. I love those dollar bins.
