Brian and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary! We married young and, with God’s help, are still in love! I made this hanging for us to put in our bedroom.
Here is how I made this wall hanging, so you can make one for you and your loved one!
I used a piece of old, rustic barn wood.
Using a small sponge roller brush, I painted it with a light coating of white paint.
In Microsoft Word, under Page Layout, I change the Orientation to Landscape and the Margins to Narrow. Then, I typed the words in Courier New at 102 point font and printed them out.
Then, I cut the words into strips and laid them out on the board.
Sliding a strip of paper down, I used a black paint marker and wrote the letters copying the ones on the strip of paper.
I lightly sanded the edges of the board. Then, I partially painted 3 clothes pins…
This hanging would also make a wonderful wedding gift!
