Disclosure: I received a Farberware Cookware set to facilitate this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
My family’s favorite main dish for the holidays is ham. Last year, I shared a recipe for making ham in a slow cooker. That is still a great way to make ham, but this year I wanted to share a faster way to make a ham. This Glazed Holiday Ham is heated in a Dutch oven for about one hour. The recipe is adapted from a fantastic recipe that my sister-in-law uses to make glazed deli ham for sandwiches.
I got to try out the Farberware New Traditions Stainless Steel 14-piece set. This set features traditional bell-shaped pieces that come with shatter-resistant glass lids which allow you to check on your food while cooking. The skillets have solid aluminum craftsmanship to ensure that heat fast and even. Handwashing the skillets is recommended to preserve the nonstick surface. The rest of the pots and pans are dishwasher safe and all of them are oven safe to 350 degrees. The set includes 1-Quart, 2-Quart and 3-Quart Cov Saucepans, 5-Quart Cov Dutch Oven, 8-Inch Skillet, 9-3/4-Inch Cov Skillet, Slotted Turner, Slotted and Solid Spoon.

To make the glazed holiday ham, cut a ham into slices and put them into the Dutch Oven.
Next, make the ham glaze. Mix together brown sugar, ground mustard, orange juice and honey in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring often.
Pour the glaze over the ham. Put the cover on the Dutch oven and place it in the oven. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
After about 30 minutes, baste the ham. Once the ham is hot, it is ready to eat!
This holiday glazed ham was fabulous and the Farberware New Traditions cookware set was so easy to use! I served the ham with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and dinner rolls. We had more than enough ham for my family, so I brought a meal to a friend’s house so they could enjoy it as well.
