What is your favorite hamburger topping? My problem is that I have so many different toppings that I love like cheese, bacon, pineapple, barbecue sauce, fried onions…and on and on. Last week, we tried a new hamburger topping: sweet and spicy coleslaw. The Grilled Slaw Burger kicked up our standard barbecue a notch with MIRACLE WHIP, and its unique, one-of-a-kind creamy blend of sweet and tangy that can’t go unnoticed. Now, I have another favorite burger topping to add to the list! The coleslaw is a delicious combination of sweet and spicy. The crushed pineapple provides the sweetness, the MIRACLE WHIP Dressing gives it a a bold, tangy flavor and the Sriracha sauce provides some heat.
Put one bag of cabbage slaw blend into a bowl. Add thinly sliced onions, MIRACLE WHIP Dressing, Sriracha sauce and crushed pineapple that has been drained.
Mix the coleslaw ingredients until well coated.
Next, make the burgers. I started by toasting the hamburger buns, so that they were ready to be filled. With this recipe you add MIRACLE WHIP into the burgers too, for a juicy, awesome burger. Mix ground beef, garlic powder and 1/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing just until blended. Make 8 (1/2-inch-thick) patties and grill them for 5 to 6 min. on each side, until done (160ºF). Top the burgers with some of the coleslaw and serve with a dish of additional coleslaw.
Celebrate summer and July 4th with a side of awesome served a whole new way. With the bold, tangy flavor of MIRACLE WHIP Slaw Burgers, be proud to show guests how you break the rules of slaw by taking it from the side of the plate to the top – the top of the burger, that is. Hi Kentucky Lady! I’m not sure why Ziplist keeps asking for your password. My guess is that they need your password to log you in so that the recipe can be saved to your account. Here is the email address to contact Ziplist support: support@ziplist.com
Best of luck! ~Tonia
