I am excited to have my daughter Christine as a guest today for the second time! She has been super busy with school lately but took the time out of her busy schedule to talk about teen gifts.
Every year for Christmas, I do a gift exchange with 4 of my friends. We set a limit on the price of the gifts and I try to get as much as I can for that price. This year I decided to buy a few beauty products for my gift.
I bought some perfume called Bombshell from Victoria’s Secret when I was at the mall. Most teenage girls love perfume! I also picked up some Charmed Life antibacterial hand gel and lotion from Bath & Body Works. I go through a lot of hand gel during the winter to try to avoid getting sick! And living in Minnesota, we have super dry winters so a lotion for in my purse is important so I figured that they would be great to give as part of my gift.
Then, I went to Target with my mom and picked up a few more things. Another item that is necessary in the winter is lip balm! I keep lip balm with me at all times. I love using lip gloss but it doesn’t moisturize enough so I have to use a lip balm too! So, when I was at Target, I bought some Softlips lip balm to add to my gift because it works so well! I’ve been using Softlips for years because my mom got me started with it when I was little. I also bought a glittery box from the dollar section to put all of the gift in and some silver decorations to put on it.
Once we got home, I put everything in the box. I added some Airheads and tinsel before closing up the box.
Then, I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the box and put the silver decorations on the outside. I’m not sure what I’m more excited about…giving this gift to my friend or seeing what my exchange gift is!
