Before winter break, my kids were having trouble getting everything ready in the mornings. I drive them to school and there were a couple of times I had to turn around to go pick up something they had forgotten. I knew that I had to figure out a way to help them prepare for school. So, I made a printable checklist for them to complete in the evenings before bed.
I put the checklist in an 8×10 frame after trimming the edges of the paper.
My kids can use a dry erase marker to check off the items as they complete them. Then, the check marks can be erased so we can keep using the same list over and over again. Last night was their first time using the checklist and this morning went so much better!
Want your own copy? You can print the checklist I made but if you live in a warm climate your kids will think you’ve lost it if you asked them to put their snowpants in their backpack! So, I made a blank bedtime checklist that you can open in a photo editing program and add your own tasks.
You can download the bedtime checklists here:
I am sharing this printable at some of these great sites!
How do you keep things running smoothly on school mornings?
