get the recipe
– whole milk
– oil for frying
– powdered sugar
Start by mixing up the batter.
The batter should be thick enough to easily coat the Oreos.
Not too thick though, or it won’t cook all the way through
Coat an Oreo with the
batter and carefully slide
it into the hot oil.
Carefully heat oil in a deep fryer
(or heavy-bottomed pot)
Fry for about 2 minutes, flipping halfway through until the
batter is golden brown.
Fry just a few at a time. Any more and the oil temp may drop.
Remove from oil and drain on
a paper towel lined plate.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy while warm!
