  • Mix together ½ cup of sugar and the cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry flour tortillas on both sides until golden.
  • Place the fried tortillas on paper towels and sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar.
  • Cut the tortillas into triangles. Chop a couple of triangles into small bits for garnish.
  • Dice the apples and set aside. If preparing ahead of time, you can put the diced apples in club soda for about 3 minutes to prevent browning. Or choose apples that are slow to brown.
  • Line pint sized berry baskets with waxed paper. Layer the cinnamon chips, whipped cream, and diced apples. Drizzle with caramel topping and top with a sprinkle cinnamon chip crumbles.
