Never leave oil unattended and watch it carefully!
Pour enough canola oil into a skillet pan so that it is 1/2 in deep and heat over medium heat. (Oil should be 350-375 degrees. I only heated oil for a little while and let the biscuits cook longer.)
Cut centers out of biscuits and place in hot oil.
Fry until golden brown before brown and then carefully flip over.
When the second side is golden brown, removed from oil and drain on paper towels before moving to a wire rack.
