How To Grill Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning
  • Prepared pizza dough recipe below or use store bought
  • Sauce BBQ, pizza sauce, Alfredo sauce, etc.
  • Meat pepperoni, chicken, sausage, Canadian bacon, etc.
  • Pizza toppings onion, olives, artichoke hearts, peppers, pineapple, etc.
  • Shredded cheese
  • Oregano

Instructions

  • Turn the grill on to medium high so that it can heat up.
  • Mix together 1/4 cups of olive oil with 1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning.
  • Set up an extra table near your grill, if you need extra space.
  • Cut a piece off of the lump of dough and flatten it out into a circle using your hands. Set the dough down on a piece of parchment paper and continue to flatten and shape it. Brush the dough with garlic and herb olive oil.
  • Place the dough on the grill with the oiled side down.
  • Brush the top side with more of the garlic and herb oil.
  • Once the crust looks cooked and you can see grill lines, turn the heat to low and flip the crust over.
  • Working quickly, add your pizza toppings.
  • Close the lid to let the cheese melt while being careful not to burn the bottoms of the pizzas.
  • Have some plates or a large platter on hand for the cooked pizzas.
