Mashed Potato Puff Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 3/4 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 3/4 cups instant potato flakes
  • 2 eggs beaten
Instructions
  1. In a 5 quart Dutch oven, bring water, butter, cheese, milk and salt to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in instant potato flakes.
  3. Fold in beaten eggs.
  4. Spread into a greased baking dish that holds 6 cups.
  5. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until puffy and golden brown.
  6. {Recipe can be made the day before and put into the refrigerator. Remove it from the refrigerator a 1/2 hour before baking.}
