Cutie Pie Pops

Servings 8

Ingredients

  • 2 refridgerated pie crusts I used Pillsbury
  • 1 cup Valentine M&M's
  • 1 egg white beaten
  • 2 oz vanilla CandiQuik or white chocolate chips
  • pink and red sprinkles
  • 8 lollipop sticks

Instructions

  • Unroll 2 Pillsbury pie crust dough on silicone mat and cut out eight 2 1/2 inch circles from pie crust so that you have a total of 16 circles. I had to knead and re-roll the scraps to get 8 out of each crust.
  • Place 8 of the cutouts on a silicon baking mat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Pile about 8 M&M’s into the center of the cutouts.
  • Position a lollipop stick so that the top reaches the center of the circle and gently press it into the dough.
  • Gently flatten the remaining 8 pie crust dough circles so that they are a little bigger.
  • Place them over the M&M’s.
  • Use a fork to crimp the edges together.
  • Brush lightly with a beaten egg white.
  • Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Melt 2 ounces of vanilla CandiQuik or white chocolate chips.
  • Frost the pie pops with the vanilla candy coating and top with sprinkles.
