Mix together flour and brown sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly. Pat into a greased 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Pecan Pie Layer:
Remove from the oven and top with caramel ice cream topping.
In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, salt and baking soda. Stir in chopped pecans.
