Very Berry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients

Sugared Pretzels:

  • 1 cup pretzels roughly chopped (measure after chopping)
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped (measure after chopping)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter melted

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature.
  • 3-4 cups mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries sliced/diced, if needed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups whipped topping or whipped cream

Instructions

Sugared Pretzels:

  • Mix together crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, brown sugar and melted butter.
  • Spread in a baking sheet with sides (I used my jelly roll pan) and bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
  • Allow the mixture to cool and then break it into small pieces.

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • Beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla.
  • Fold in whipped topping and store in the fridge or in a cooler.

Serving Instructions:

  • Keep the ingredients separate until right before serving. Then, add the sugared pretzels and mixed berries to the cream cheese mixture.
