water

cornstarch

sugar

butter

fresh lemon juice

teaspoon
grated lemon peel
optional
Instructions
While the bread pudding is cooking, make a lemon sauce.
Mix together water and cornstarch in saucepan.
Stir in sugar and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Mix in butter, fresh lemon juice and grated lemon peel.
