Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Servings 3 cups
Ingredients
- ½ cup shortening
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup marshmallow cream
- 3-4 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Sift together the cocoa powder and the powdered sugar. Set aside.
- Beat shortening and butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla extract.
- Add sugar/cocoa powder mixture one cup at a time.
- Add marshmallow cream and milk. Beat until light and fluffy.
