Sriracha Chicken Pinwheels

Course Appetizer

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 4 oz cream cheese 1/2 of the 8 oz package, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream with chives and onions
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (use canned chicken to make things easier)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese I used a colby & Monterey Jack blend
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha chili sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Mix together softened cream cheese, sriracha sauce, sour cream with chives and onions, shredded chicken, shredded cheese, fresh pepper and salt.
  • Unroll the Pillsbury Crescents dinner roll dough without separating individual triangles. Divide the dough down the middle, into two rectangles. Press perforations to seal.
  • Spread about 3/4 cup of the sriracha chicken mixture into the center of the dough within 1/4 of an inch of the long sides.
  • Starting on the long side, tightly roll the dough and pinch seams to seal.
  • Cut into 16 slices. Place the slices, with the filling side up, on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
