Cupcakes

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix together cake mix, pop and root beer flavored oil.
  • Fill muffin cups 2/3 of the way and bake for 18-23 minutes.
  • Allow cupcakes to cool before adding a scoop of root beer float buttercream.

Root Beer Float Buttercream

  • Beat butter, shortening, root beer flavored oil and vanilla until creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating at low speed until well blended.
  • Add heavy cream and marshmallow cream beat until light and fluffy.
