Peel and slice an apple. Put the apple slices into a greased ramekin. Set aside.
Put flour, brown sugar and butter in a bowl. Cut in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the oats, cinnamon, and allspice. Pour over the sliced apples in the ramekin.
Microwave on high for about 2 1/2 minutes, until apples are tender.
Top with a drizzle of caramel, if desired.
