Notes

One: Make Ahead

You can make this up to two hours ahead of time. Place the covered blender jar or a pitcher with a lid in the freezer. Shake the orange julius every 20-30 minutes to keep it from freezing solid. Stir or shake well before serving.

Two: Storage

Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days. Stir before serving. Or pour leftovers into an ice cube tray or popsicle mold and freeze for later.

Three: Pineapple

Use a 12-ounce container of pineapple juice (or pineapple orange) concentrate and garnish with pineapple slices.

Four: Ice Cream

Add two cups of vanilla ice cream instead of half-n-half. Or serve it over scoops of vanilla ice cream in glasses like an orange float.

Five: Smoothie

Use one cup of vanilla yogurt instead of half-n-half. Add one sliced banana and a scoop of vanilla protein powder if desired.
