  • Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add milk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer (or heavy pot) to 365˚F.
  • Carefully drizzle ½ cup of batter (for each funnel cake) into the hot oil in a swirling, circular motion. Fry 2-3 minutes, until golden brown, flipping halfway through. (We were able to fit two funnel cakes at once in our fryer.)
  • Drain on a paper towel lined plate.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
