Ingredients

granulated sugar

cup
water
1
teaspoon
peppermint extract
Instructions
Stir together granulated sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat. Allow the syrup to cool for 10-15 minutes.
Stir in the peppermint extract.
Cool to room temperature and transfer into a bottle or jar.
Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks or store in the freezer in an airtight container.
