This Classic Fajitas recipe with juicy grilled steak and veggies is easy enough for a weeknight dinner but perfect for a simple dinner party as well!

Ingredients

Steak

  • 1 ½ lbs steak flank or skirt
  • 1.12 ounces fajita seasoning
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice

Vegetables

  • 2 bell peppers (any color)
  • 2 onions
  • ¼ cup zesty Italian salad dressing

Fajitas

  • 12 flour tortillas
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 limes cut into wedges
  • 15 oz black beans rinsed and drained

Instructions

  • Mix together the fajita seasoning, olive oil, and lime juice. Put the steak in a gallon-sized ziptop bag. Add the marinade. Seal and place in the fridge to marinate for 6 hours or overnight.
  • Slice the bell peppers and onions into wedges. Place in a gallon-sized ziptop bag. Add the zesty Italian salad dressing. Seal and place in the fridge to marinate for 6 hours or overnight.
  • Remove the steaks and veggies from the plastic baggies and place on the grill over medium heat. Throw away the marinade. Grill for 12-17 minutes or until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 160˚F.
  • Cut the steak into slices. Serve with flour tortillas, grilled veggies, and other toppings.
