Cotton Candy Ice Cream

Cotton Candy Ice Cream is a sweet, colorful treat! This no churn ice cream recipe tastes like cotton candy and is a delight to eat.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 drams cotton candy flavoring (about 2 teaspoons)
  • 2 cups pink and blue cotton candy
  • pink and blue food coloring

Instructions

  • Flatten the pink cotton candy. Crumble into pieces. Repeat with the blue cotton candy. Set aside.
  • Whip the pint of heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in the sweetened condensed milk and the cotton candy flavoring.
  • Divide into two bowls. Stir pink food coloring and pink cotton candy crumbles into one bowl. Then, stir blue food coloring and blue cotton candy crumbles into the other bowl.
  • Alternate placing dollops of each color in a loaf pan.
  • Tightly cover the pan with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 8 hours or overnight, until firm.

Notes

One: Milkshake

Blend 1/3-1/2 cup of whole milk with 2 cups of cotton candy ice cream until smooth.

Two: Cookie Sandwich

Gently squish the ice cream between two shortbread cookies. Roll the edges in pink and blue sprinkles. Freeze until hardened.

Three: Float

Put a scoop or two of ice cream into a glass and slowly pour cream soda over the top.

Four: Storage

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for 2-4 weeks.
