This homemade Banana Pancakes recipe is an easy, family-friendly breakfast! These buttermilk pancakes have added nutrition with the mashed bananas. It's like having banana bread for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Sift together the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then, whisk in the buttermilk, yogurt and mashed bananas.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk lightly. Batter will still be lumpy.
  • Stir in the melted butter.
  • For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a greased skillet. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
