Loaded Potato Jars

Ingredients

  • Instant mashed potato flakes
  • Milk
  • Country Crock Spread
  • Shredded cheese
  • Green onions
  • Sour cream
  • Bacon bits
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • **Update: I recently learned that Ball mason jars are NOT oven safe, so I recommend only serving the potatoes in the jars for a fun presentation.**
  • Prepare the desired amount of instant mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package.
  • Stir shredded cheese, sour cream, bacon and pepper into the mashed potatoes. (The amounts depend on how many mashed potatoes were prepared.)
  • Continue heating until the cheese is melted and the mixture is hot.
  • Spoon the mixture into oven safe jars or ramekins and top with more shredded cheese and bacon.
  • Top with chopped green onions before serving.
