Nut Goodie Bars

These Nut Goodie Bars are melt-in-your-mouth amazing! The combo of chocolate and maple nougat with the peanuts is one of my family’s all-time favorites.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Melt one cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, one cup butterscotch chips and one cup peanut butter in the microwave and mix until combined. Spread in a foil-lined jelly roll pan and place in the fridge to cool and harden.
  • Heat butter, vanilla pudding, and evaporated milk in a pot over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until it is thickened into a pudding. Stir in the maple flavoring. Pour the pudding into the heat-proof bowl of a stand mixer. Stir in the powdered sugar one cup at a time. Spread the maple nougat mixture over the cooled chocolate layer.
  • Melt the remaining semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter. Stir in the peanuts and spread over the maple nougat layer.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool and harden before cutting into bars.
  • Store bars in the fridge or freezer.
