These Nut Goodie Bars are melt-in-your-mouth amazing! The combo of chocolate and maple nougat with the peanuts is one of my family’s all-time favorites.

Nut Goodie Bars stack

Nut Goodie Bars are from a Minnesota based company called Pearson’s candy. They also make Salted Nut Rolls and Mint Patties and we love all three.

My mom used to make a copycat Nut Goodie Bar during the holidays and she gave me the recipe so that I can make it whenever the mood strikes! These bars have become one of my family’s all-time favorite bars. The jelly roll sized pan ensures that there are plenty of bars to share.

chocolate layer in bottom

Melt one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, one cup of butterscotch chips, and one cup of peanut butter. Stir until smooth and spread in a foil-lined, jelly roll pan. Place pan in the fridge to allow the chocolate to cool and harden.

Maple Nougat Layer

Heat butter, cook and serve vanilla pudding (not instant pudding), and evaporated milk in a pan over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until it is thickened into a pudding. Stir in the maple flavoring. Pour the pudding into the heat-proof bowl of a stand mixer. Stir the powdered sugar in one cup at a time. Spread the maple nougat mixture over the cooled chocolate layer.

Chocolate Peanut Layer

Melt the remaining semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter. Stir in the peanuts and spread over the maple nougat layer.

Why did you remove the directions on how to make them individually? I have followed this for the last two years and it is gone. I really was counting on that.
