Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Homemade Chocolate Covered Strawberries are the ultimate treat! They look beautiful on a serving platter and can be given as a gift.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chocolate melting wafers dark, white, or milk
  • 16 oz strawberries
  • Optional: sprinkles mini chocolate chips or other decorations

Instructions

  • Rinse the strawberries and dry them very well.
  • Pour chocolate melting wafers into a small, microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat them in the microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds. Stir and then continue heating in 10-second increments, stirring after each time, until smooth.
  • Dip the dry strawberries in the melted chocolate and place them on a piece of parchment paper or wax paper.
  • Add decorations if desired.
  • Once the chocolate is set, store the chocolate coated strawberries in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in an airtight container covered with waxed paper.
