Pumpkin Pops
These Pumpkin Pops are an adorable treat for autumn, from Halloween through Thanksgiving, made from Tootsie Pops covered in tissue paper.

Ingredients
- 10 Tootsie Pops or another kind of lollipops
- 10 sheets orange tissue paper
- 10 sheets green tissue paper
- 10 pennies optional - see notes
- 10 pieces baker's twine
- 1 ultra-thin tip black marker
Instructions
- Cut the green tissue paper into circles that measure 5 1/2 inches across and the orange tissue paper into circles that measure 4 1/2 inches across.
- Layer the items in this order, starting from the bottom: an orange circle of tissue paper, a green circle of tissue paper, a penny (omit for young children), and a lollipop.
- Wrap the tissue paper around the lollipop. The orange circle just reaches around the lollipop.
- Tie a piece of baker's twine around the lollipop to hold the tissue in place.
- Use the ultra-fine tip black marker to draw jack-o-lantern faces on the pumpkins.
Notes
The pennies make it possible to stand the pumpkins up. Omit the pennies if you are making this for young kids or passing them out to trick-or-treaters. Put them into a bowl or lay them out on a tray.
