    Vintage Door Hangers

I have been making these vintage door hangers for several years and finally got my husband to cut some more pieces of wood for me and now they are ready to go!

I love giving them as part of a gift at Christmas to my kid’s teachers!

They are so cheerful to hang around the house! They make me smile when I see them.  This year I made 4 different styles and made 6 of each kind. Once you figure out the design then it’s just kind of assembly style from there. I Mod-Podge the pieces onto the wood and attach a ribbon to the back.

I love to use the book Memories of a Lifetime: Alphabets and Ornaments by Anna Corba. It is a book that comes with a CD full of images. I load the images into a scrapbooking program that I have.
