Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ingredients

Seasoning Mix

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon old bay seasoning

Biscuits

  • 2 cups homemamde bisquick see note one to use store-bought original Bisquick
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450˚F. In a small bowl, prepare the seasoning mix. Combine garlic powder, parsley, salt, and old bay seasoning. Set aside.

  • Put the bisquick, whole milk, and shredded cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl. Add one teaspoon of the seasoning mix. Stir until combined but don't overmix.

  • Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Bake at 450˚F for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.

  • While the biscuits are baking, stir the remaining seasoning mix into the melted butter. Brush over the biscuits immediately after baking. Serve while warm.

Notes

One: Store-Bought Original Bisquick
The recipe for store-bought, original Bisquick changed. To use it in this recipe, you’ll have to add one tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Two: Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, in the fridge for up to five days, or in the freezer for up to three months.
