Garnish with whipped creamcaramel sauce, and ground cinnamon if desired
Instructions
Pour the apple cider, orange juice, cinnamon syrup (I used sugar free brown sugar cinnamon coffee syrup), caramel sauce, apple slices, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise into a 6-quart crock pot and stir to combine.
Cover and warm on low until heated about 4 hours.
Ladle into mugs and top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of caramel.
Store leftovers in the fridge and heat in the microwave.

If you want to make less, you can cut back on the amounts of the ingredients and use a smaller crockpot. If you prefer, you can heat the apple cider in a large stockpot on the stovetop.
