Brown ground beef with the minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Drain and set aside.
Put the chili beans, condensed tomato soup, water, and the browned beef mixture into a large pot. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until ready to serve.
One: Meat
You can substitute all or some of the ground beef with ground sausage, ground turkey, or chicken.
Two: Vegetarian
Skip the meat and add more beans as well as diced veggies.
Three: Without Beans
Increase the ground beef to two pounds and double the seasoning when browning the meat.
Four: Storage
Store any leftover chili in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
