  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
  • Put the oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl and stir to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Bake at 350˚F for 28-32 minutes, until set.

Yes, you can prepare the baked oatmeal and store it in the refrigerator overnight. Take it out of the fridge in the morning while the oven is preheating, and then bake as directed.
Or you can bake the oatmeal, allow it to cool, and store slices in the refrigerator or freezer to warm up as needed.
