Chocolate Milkshake

A Chocolate Milkshake is one of the most popular shakes, along with chocolate malts! Use homemade chocolate sauce for an outstanding treat.

Instructions

  • Put the whole milk and chocolate sauce into the blender. See notes for a chocolate malt. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla ice cream and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into two chilled glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry.

Notes

One: Thickness

Add slightly less milk for a thicker milkshake or slightly more for a thinner milkshake.

Two: Chocolate Malt

Add three tablespoons of chocolate malted milk powder along with the milk. Top with malted milk balls.

Three: Chocolate Banana

Add 1/2 cup of frozen banana slices.

Four: Chocolate Peanut Butter

Add 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter.

Five: White Chocolate

Use white chocolate sauce instead of regular chocolate sauce.
