- ½ cup whole milk*
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream slightly softened
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup whipped cream
- 2 maraschino cherries
- 1 teaspoon rainbow sprinkles
Put the whole milk, vanilla extract, and vanilla ice cream into the blender. See notes to make a vanilla malt.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into two chilled glasses.
Top with whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, and rainbow sprinkles.
One: Thick or Thinner Shakes
Add slightly less milk for a thicker milkshake or slightly more for a thinner milkshake.
Two: Vanilla Malt
To make a malted version, add three tablespoons of malted milk powder to the ingredients in the blender.
Three: Vanilla Bean
Use vanilla bean ice cream and vanilla bean paste.
Four: Strawberry
Add 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries to the other ingredients in the blender.
